Meet the Owner
9 Mile Boat & RV Storage is a privately owned facility owned by Steve Hamlet, a retired veteran with 20 years of service in the Army, Air Force, and Army National Guard. Steve's military career took him around the world—from Honduras to Iraq to Kosovo—but his heart has always belonged to the great outdoors.
Growing up in Colorado, Steve spent his childhood camping with his family and exploring everything the mountains had to offer. Those early adventures instilled a lifelong love of the outdoors that he's now passing down to his own family.
In 2020, Steve and his wife Nancy purchased their first RV—a travel trailer—and discovered Florida's incredible camping scene with their two daughters. From the crystal-clear springs to scenic state parks, the Hamlet family fell in love with the freedom of the open road and the peace of time spent on the water. Today, they own a fifth wheel and a boat, both stored right here on the lot, and they take full advantage of the easy access to local boat ramps and I-95 for weekend getaways.
As a boat and RV owner himself, Steve understands what matters most: convenient access, reliable security, and a facility that doesn't add stress to your adventure. The benefit of a privately-owned lot is simple—the owner is on site frequently and available anytime you need assistance. Steve takes pride in maintaining a clean, well-lit, secure facility where fellow adventurers can store their investments with confidence.
